So the chef at St. Marks holds cooking classes. This night was Indian themed. Unlike many other cooking classes, where everyone makes the same thing following step by step instruction, this class entailed picking one of the recipes on the counter and having a go. Of course, he helped out, but I definitely spent most of the time being overwhelmed by the crazy amounts of spices and seeds we had to find in the vast kitchen. Me and one other girl made a spicy beef curry (the name alludes me at the moment). It was quite the night, and the meal was delicious! Unfortunately, when making our desert cookies (coconut biscuits) the oven was turned up from 180 degrees to 200. So we ended up with a cookie slab. But not to fear we rebounded with simply spreading Nutella all over them and making cookie sandwiches! Nutella makes everything better. Luckily the chef took some pictures. They're a bit out of order.
